More images. The large aircraft in the third image is the Tupolev ANT-20 "Maxim Gorky" which crashed shortly after the photo was taken following a mid-air collision. It must have been quite something to see.

I always feel slightly uncomfortable taking photos of strangers. But you do see some great things that are fleeting, momentary, yet somehow one feels that they should be preserved.
Astonishing photography. Must find a way to get to see this exhibition.
