Article about maps by companies other than the OS at scales of 1 inch to the mile or greater. Geekery. Must consider joining the Charles Close Society.

Map geekery. I've got a beautiful 4 mile to the inch map of Sussex, Surrey and Kent. I reckon it dates from between 1911 and 1921.

Horrendous website, but great shop. In particular, in the basement you will find "Mitch" Mitchell's offer of maps, which includes a good and regularly refreshed range of OS stuff. Got some good stuff there today, will be back for more.

By far the biggest selection of maps and atlases that I've found online. Excellent service - a road atlas of Poland elivered to my door within 24 hours.

Hmm. Map lust. I rather like the Robinson projection versions. It's a shame that they don't do a Europe map at the moment.
