Good to see a "porper" garden win best in show - no gimmicks, good design, real plants, totally achievable in the real world.
Val is an excellent writer who understands plants. She was telling me today that she will only write about plants that she has grown herself, so you can be sure she truly understands the subject of her articles.
Impressive by UK standards - but for anyone who (like me) spends a lot of time in glasshouses around Maasdijk and Naaldwijk in the Netherlands, it's not really that unusual.
