I find the local opposition to the Jerwood puzzling. The new building needed to be sensitive to the surroundings and I think this succeeds. We intend to visit very soon.
Must try to see this exhibition.
More images. The large aircraft in the third image is the Tupolev ANT-20 "Maxim Gorky" which crashed shortly after the photo was taken following a mid-air collision. It must have been quite something to see.

Splendid design magazine covering art, architecture, antiques, gardens, interiors and design. Not sure I'd pay the subscription price, though, which is waaay more than the cover price.
