Horrendous website, but great shop. In particular, in the basement you will find "Mitch" Mitchell's offer of maps, which includes a good and regularly refreshed range of OS stuff. Got some good stuff there today, will be back for more.

I'm entirely familiar with this roundabout - the Phormiums that were there before were completely inappropriate (and remember - I've been in the trade for 20 years) and, frankly, looked awful. The new planting is much better.

We visited this yesterday, although we only walked around the parade ground and the gun platform (which you can access free of charge). Honestly, Eastbourne should make more fuss about this building - it's utterly splendid and the external appearance give
