Webarchive - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A handy starting point for anyone interested in WebArchive format. As Wikipedia necessarily excludes many external links, you should look elsewhere for broader summaries. See for example http://www.diigo.com/list/grahamperrin/webarchive?v=p

* add a snapshot of the page to a Qu-s note
* auto-zoom option
* print
* load the page in a default browser, typically Safari.
A note can include many snapshots. For each snapshot, Qu-s saves:
* a preview in JPEG format
* full page content in WebArchive format
http://www.diigo.com/list/grahamperrin/webarchive?v=p offers an overview of multi-platform support for WebArchive files.
The text area of a note can include:
* bullet points
* numbered lists
* check boxes.
To the area below the text, you can:
* drag the favicon or URL from the toolbar of Safari
* drag the proxy icon from the title bar of a Mail message
* drag a message from the list in the viewer window of Mail.
Within a note: as you hover over each link or message, its preview appears. A single click on:
* the preview of a link will open its archive in the Qu-S browser
* the preview of a message will open it in Mail.
Notes are organised within projects.
A full screen mode, with cork board or custom background, makes it easy to focus on a single project. - grahamperrin on 2009-10-08
