I don't find clapping between movements to be the most egregious behaviour, although it's unnecessary and inconsiderate.
But anybody who claps while the music is actually playing ought to be thrown out at the first opportunity.

Barry Manilow headlines Park Prom
I don't get it. I don't see the point of a pop concert with the likes of Barry Manilow and Katherine Jenkins. I know someone who's got tickets and is under the impression he's going to a classical concert. Why on earth would he want to go to a Barry Manilow /Katherine Jenkins concert unless he happens, coincidentally, to be a fan of their particular sorts of pop music?
