iMoot 2010
"Welcome to the new website for the world's first iMoot, a web based International Moodle Moot.
iMoot2010 runs from January 7th-10th and will be operating 24 hours. This will allow speakers and attendees from all countries to participate in their own timezones or choose to stay up late and listen to those in others.
We are still fine tuning the technologies we will be using. Our forums are already active, so if you have ideas/suggestions please let us know how you think we can make this the best iMoot ever!
This site is new and has not much information listed so far. Please make sure you take the time to register so that we can get updates to you as we move forward.

MOMO (Mobile Moodle) Project
The MOMO (Mobile Moodle) project is an Add-On to the popular Moodle Learning Management System. It brings the ability to implement mobile learning scenarios with Moodle as a backend.

A block that requires only an email address to create a parent account for a user.
Capabilities can be set to allow central administration of parent accounts (user types students name into a search box then can add/delete parent accounts) and/or allow students to add/delete their own parent accounts. Addition and Deletion are different capabilities.
Once configured, simply select a student (or get students to do it themselves) and enter an email address; a user account is created with this address, it is assigned the (configured) parent role and a (configurable) welcome email is sent to the address (with login details)
