I think this is an excellent post about our Digital students and some valid comment and example of a 9 year old and a 13 year old expressing themselves on YouTube in a positive and creative way. Food for thought. What are we doing with our students? How are they expressing themselves on a 21st Century platform.
Fanfiction looks like a very interesting place for literacy students. i think I'll check it out next.

Lokks like a very good book, that has excellent references. Written by Cognitive Scientist, Dan Willingham. I understand it is very well written and explans so much about how we learn. He also give teachers loads of tips.

This is page 8 of the REPORT. It is an excellent look at Adaptive Ciriculums through "Project Based Learning". I love the concept and feel that this is true 21st Century preparation. This is a future trend that will become more and more prominant.
