Die Idee ist nicht schlecht. Man meldet sich an und erstellt eine eigene App aus vorgefertigten Bausteinen. Alles sehr einfach und im vorgegebenen Maße auch recht flexibel. Mit appsbar kann man im Prinzip eine App erstellen, mit der man Inhalte präsentiert: Bilder, Videos (eigene bzw. von Youtube), externe Webseiten usw. Dazu gibt es einige Bereiche, bei denen man etwas eintragen kann, wie z.B. Formulare.

Seit etwa 4 Wochen benutze ich die iPad/iPhone-App von @zeitonline. Ein flüchtiger Erfahrungsbericht (natürlich auf dem iPad - mit der Tumblr-App).
Aufgrund meiner ersten Erfahrungen empfehle ich die iPhone/iPad App ZEIT ONLINE plus: "Journalistisch bietet sie das aktuelle Angebot von ZEIT ONLINE sowie die gesamten Inhalte der Wochenzeitung DIE ZEIT. Ein Aspekt ist jedoch bestimmt unbestritten: In Zeiten des iPhones können es sich Kommunikatoren kaum mehr leisten in Ruhe an ihren Schreibtisch zurück zu kehren und sich erst dann um aufgetretene große und kleine Kommunikationskrisen zu kümmern. "Took us a while but version 1.3 of audioboo got sent off to Apple at 4.30pm on the 8th January. Based on past experience, we thought it wouldn’t be okayed for 3/4 weeks. We were then pleasantly surprised to receive an email at 11.17pm the same day saying that they had approved the update. Kudos to Apple for really updating its review process.
