Open Book Exams Become Open Internet Exams in Denmark
The emphasis of the tests is on finding and applying information rather than on reciting facts - the way knowledge is used in the 'real world.' Also much more time-consuming to grade.

What I like about the story's concept is that the questions Danish students are being asked require them to use knowledge rather than regurgitate knowledge.

Students and educators are in agreement that technology is an important adjunct to education - but students are not impressed with how well instructors understand and integrate technology into their classes.

According to new research released Monday, only 38 percent of students indicated that their instructors "understand technology and fully integrate it into their classes." Students also rated that lack of understanding as "the biggest obstacle to classroom technology integration."

A service sells students a deliberately corrupted file, which they then submit as assignments. When the prof tries to open the file, it comes up as "corrupted" and won't open. If the prof doesn't try to open the file immediately, it buys the student some time to complete the assignment.
