Meatball Wiki: WikiPrefix
annotation diigo fridemar wiki wikiprefix
Again my last annotation dissolved into thin air.
Suggestion: What about using DiiGo and TrailTrail for mutual backup.
- Thank you to the unnamed author, who motivated me, to give WikiPrefix ing a broader focus. - fridemar on 2006-11-09

I can see your welcome, Hans. This is a comment. Did you install the Diigo Toolbar, in Firefox?
Indeed I can't see a sticky note either. Now I make one on MeatballWiki:WikiPrefix. Can you see it now? -- Fridemar

- How does this idea differ from the existing InterMap facility?
- a handy abbreviation for the syntax of global wiki URL page naming like this: Wikiprefix:pagename. Compare this to: Intermap:pagename. (Intermap points to a concept, wheras WikiPrefix is a dummy for the prefixed URL string to concatenate with pagename. Forgive the author for not using here a more formal definition in BNF. )
- a term that flows better with text: "What is the prefix of your favorite wiki?" Can you give me some WikiPrefix 'es, where the wiki term xyz or [xyz] is discussed?"
- an easier to remember shortcut for Wiki Identification. (Once the author proposed, that each Wiki should have its WikiPrefix on each of its pages. What a shame, that the first and original Wiki had/has(?) different WikiPrefix es in different communities: wiki, wikiwiki, c2, WardsWiki, TheOriginalWiki? ;-) On the other hand look at the right upper position of each page of this Wiki and you can see the WikiPrefix meatball.
- a tool for WikiBranding?
- a profiling tool for helping the social annotating communities to easily associate Wikis with their special topics of interest (this helps to profile wikis and attract just those people who are in best resonance). -- FridemarPache

WikiPrefix
A WikiPrefix is a memorable shortcut to a wiki domain to make it easier to WikiWalk? or annotate Webpages via Wikipages in different Wikis.
E.g. With
Meatball=http://www.usemod.com/cgi-bin/mb.pl?
we could refer to this page as Meatball:WikiPrefix from an external server that supports it.
This would be very useful for an AnnotationWiki or at least for a WikiAnnotationMediator.
Thank you for this question. Namely in this way we can bring it to a broader focus via the DiigoService.
The author uses WikiPrefix as:
'Note:'
This page is DiigoService ''d. (socially bookmarked, blogged, annotated, archived )
The author recommends to annotate it for faster input.
<form enctype="application/x-www-form-urlencoded" method="get" action="mb.pl">

Add Sticky NoteStrange, but I don't notice any hiLites when viewing this page. -- HansWobbe
- I make the sticky note on your last comment: "Strange, but I don't notice any hiLites. ... I wonder, what happens, if you modify or delete your last entry. I suppose, that the hiLite becomes an ordinary comment. I also clip the whole space, i.e. archive it and you should be able to see it. If not, try yourself to clip it and let's see, what comes out.. .--Fridemar

Thank you litebluecat for creating and sharing "Abstract Jazz Animation" (YouTube:iWm9xW4AnPo).
Profiltaktics saw h[is/er]name. I saw some patterns in it looking like stenografic signs, a kind of calligraphic steno. It played well together with the music.
What about joining as co-creator of the new 3d (body-) sign-language StenoMotion. -- fridemar

Thank you, dear ToxicVFX, for creating and sharing your "Particle Animation" (YS0FI_Keqmo) in YouTube, which uses a technique , well suited to present dynamical texts, especially curve-oriented texts like stenography.
There is a initiative in YouTube to develop a new (3D body-) sign-language StenoMotion, that embraces new communication skills for hearing and hearing-impaired people
alike. What about joining as a co-pioneer?
Did you do it with Blender? Could you make a tutorial or point to one? Thank you.

LineAnimation AftereffectsTutorial StenoMotion
Hi Sniper1a3,
thank you for your Tutorial: "Line Animation along a Path". You said (in German) you are interested in possible applications. A nice application would be StenoMotion, animated extension of stenography to a body-sign language. You are invited to co-create it in the YouTube community and beyond. Tag: StenoMotion. As Illustration, StenoCalligraphy, StenoArt, sign-language (not only) for the hearing-impaired community.
Hallo Sniper1a3, danke für dein Tutorial zum Thema "Linie am Pfad animieren". Du sagtest, du wärjavascript:void(0)
Publish Postest an Anwendungen interessiert? Danke. -- fridemar

------------
Dear Donna,
I am excited about your presentation and personality. Your are realizing a dream of myself, the integration of a very high level of sound emotion and cognition. The right and the left brain complement each other in a perfect way.
This is the great gift of your special culture
to the rest of the world. You are building a bridge between hearing-impaired and not hearing-impaired people.
Your body expression is sophisticated and lovable. We all can and will learn a lot of you, last not least due to spoken language and
subtitles along your sign language.
We are just starting a complementary abstract (i.e. non-iconic) sign-language as just another bridge between different cultures.
This language ( StenoMotion ) is based on high levels of stenography, imbedded into the full space of body movements. I think both languages can cross-fertilize each other.
Thank you
