Stress is Caused by Worry
Worry caused by stress can block positive vibrations from becoming manifested in our lives. If we insist on spending time worrying it becomes entrenched in our psyche and is nearly impossible to root out. worry can also place one into a trance that we aren’t aware of thus making it even more difficult to combat the worry.
Can a Power Nap Help Relieve Stress?
Studies have shown that a short power nap in the afternoon gives more rest than the same length of time added in the morning. This may be because the afternoon is about 8 hours after we wake up and maybe the body is built that way. Who knows why we seem to tire in the afternoon approximately 8 hours after we awake?
Another Day In Paradise
There wasn’t much deep breathing, there was no fight/flight scenario, just a lot of time spent enjoying their presence and relaxation. No, there wasn’t any meditation or need for positive self talk though there was ample opportunity for positive reinforcement with them. I do not make judgment statements to them about things they do. I tell them they are “big” girls, never that they are “good” when referring to something they completed successfully. I have to admit that was done with difficulty with their parents and certainly not often enough.
