Stress is Caused by Worry
Worry caused by stress can block positive vibrations from becoming manifested in our lives. If we insist on spending time worrying it becomes entrenched in our psyche and is nearly impossible to root out. worry can also place one into a trance that we aren’t aware of thus making it even more difficult to combat the worry.
Stress Is Not A Normal Body Function!
I was reading an article that stated that stress is the body’s natural reaction to things that require a response or adjustment. I disagree. In my opinion, stress is not the body’s reaction but our reaction to the situation. The fight or flight response is not stress, it is a physiological reaction to the situation. How we deal with that situation is what causes stress.
Are You Sabotaging Yourself?
Freeing yourself from worry and stress may be the most important thing you can do today. Worry and stress are counterproductive, no matter what anyone says.Worry is like fear. Fear has been defined as an acronym for Future Events Appearing Real which means we imagine unpleasantness as if it has already taken place. You lose the joy of the present and your ability to see things clearly. Eventually continuing stress and worry can lead to physical health problems in addition to the mental distress most of us go through. The good news is that the amount of time we spend on stress and worry is up to us.
Are We Making The Right Choices?
A majority of our stress is caused by our choices. We choose to react to various situations which can lead to stress for us. If we instead choose to determine the best route to take then we will have less stress because we aren’t being controlled by the situation.
More Stress Management
Stress is not the body’s reaction to emotional or physical attacks, it is a result of how we handle those physical and emotional attacks. Our bodies always react the same way to emotional or physical attacks by dumping massive amounts of adrenalin into the bloodstream which increases heart rate, quickens breathing and raises blood pressure. You become more aware mentally as your body throws up its defense mechanisms.
Managing Stress
Stress is a normal occurrence in our lives but that doesn’t mean it is good for us. It also doesn’t have to happen. It is possible to learn to control stress, not by eliminating the causes of stress, the pressure on you, but by changing how we react to circumstances. You still have do deal with the events but not the stress.
