Printing to Windows shared printers in 10.2 - macosxhints.com -

  • this is how i managed to allow my brother to print from his powerbook G4 running OSX 10.2.8 to an hp930C connected to a  PC  running Windows XP PRO.
    we've used the option:
    smb://username:password@workgroup/machine/printer
    I heartly thank this forum for solving our long-standing printing problem
