More smearing from Wael. He spends the majority of the day defaming his colleagues and activists in Arabic, in a way that State Security would have never dreamed of doing. Then goes around marketing himself in English as a "human rights defender."

From being one of the country's leading human rights defenders in 2006, Wael has turned into one hell of a defamation and libel machine over the past 3 years. The state doesn't need Rosa el-Youssef anymore to defame and morally assassinate activists. Wael Abbas is doing the job much better. The slurs and insults against activists, their mothers, sons and their families are mostly written in Arabic.
