اكدت مصادر اقتصادية اسرائيلية بان مصر تزود اكبر مصنع اسرائيلي يورد مواد بناء للمستوطنات بالغاز في حين تطالب القاهرة الادارة الامريكية بالضغط على اسرائيل لوقف الاستيطان في الاراضي الفلسطينية.

However, in my opinion, he seriously mishandled his central message which may even have deepened the sense of despair. This was because he gave the impression that Palestine was on the brink of a defeat so severe that Palestinians faced nothing less than in Chomsky’s words “the death of the nation”.
Just to underline the point, he used the ominous concept pioneered by the radical Israeli sociologist Baruch Kimmerling: politicide – “to bring about the dissolution of the Palestinian peoples existence”. To make matters worse, on not one occasion did he even mention briefly the Palestinian liberation movement, appearing to give them no role in resisting the destruction of their own movement. This was to be left to the Boycott Disinvestment & Sanctions (BDS) movement in America and Europe. But even here he mishandled the argument by calling for the BDS movement to focus exclusively on US, UK, EU relations with Israel rather than on Israel directly.

When it comes to the Arab-Israeli conflict, the last thing I want to be known for is "being reasonable." Count me as unreasonable, please.

وقد قرأت رد أيمن نور مترجماً إلى العربية على الموقع الإلكترونى لليوم السابع، وأذهلنى ما جاء فيه خاصة تأكيد أيمن نور بأنه يرفض أى اعتداء على إسرائيل.. وقد عدت إلى نص المقال قبل الكتابة عنه للتأكد مما جاء فيه وكان الكلام بالإنجليزية كالتالى:
Anyone examining my record can easily discern that I have always" supported and upheld Egypt's peace treaty with Israel, and have strongly opposed calls of aggression against Israel"

أطلقت وزيرة الخارجية الأميركية هيلاري كلينتون، خلال محادثاتها مع الجانبين الإسرائيلي والفلسطيني بشأن استئناف المفاوضات بين الطرفين، أمس، رصاصة الموت على مطالبة الفلسطينيين بوقف الاستيطان شرطاً للتفاوض، معلنة تأييدها الموقف الإسرائيلي نحو السير في مفاوضات من دون شروط.

The chief Palestinian negotiator, Saeb Erekat, said the plan would have excluded about 3,000 Israeli housing units under construction and would not have applied to East Jerusalem -- thus falling well short of what has become a firm Palestinian demand for resuming direct talks with Israel.
