Like many people, I've got different identities on different networks; Twitter for work, Facebook for friends and family, LinkedIn for former colleagues. In some ways having these on separate systems is useful as their functionality suits who I'm connecting with but it's also a pain having to manage all these accounts.
Thinking I might have a closer look at Orkut. They seem to have a a more nuanced view of online identity than Facebook.
