A curated site of links on video in learning by Theo Kuechel. Some interesting stuff here.
"The motion: This house believes that as social learning grows, so the requirement for traditional training departments shrink."
I'm drawn more to vote for the motion in this. When I worked at Siemens I felt that the training courses I ran were ineffectual but the coaching sessions I ran actually helped people to make a difference to the way they did things.
Many organisations find themselves in a quandary over allowing social media at work; learning benefits vs retaining a feeling of control over information and time. I've bookmarked a few other links on this as well.

This sums it up nicely:
"As educators, we know that we need to help young people understand how their digital stories might be interpreted and appropriated, and support them to maintain their privacy. But can we also find ways to help them tell their stories in ways that are not just about presenting idealized versions of themselves to a corporate world, but allow them to critique these narratives and gain agency over their own stories?"

Great project blog from Uni of Exeter on uses of AR in teaching and learning.
Now, do I put it in the diigo list for Participation or Geolocation? Choices, choices? Dammit, Diigo! Why not both?
