I don't aspire to join that illustrious company by stating on record that this technology or that gadget is going to change the world. Nothing has a shorter shelf-life than the cutting edge

Practical tips from Tom Barrett on starting to build a network on Twitter. It's aimed at teachers who are new to it but is great advice for anyone wanting to engage with a larger community. This is a pretty slick piece of marketing for Evernote that highlights some of the uses the app has in an educational context. It's part VLE, part ePortfolio, part blog etc.
Although the students all have shiny looking Macs, that's a bit of a red-herring. It's the fact that Evernote can run on multiple platforms (inc mobile) and over the web that makes it such a great tool.
I also REALLY want to be able to make videos as slick as these.
