AP Central - Student Meets Text: The Dialectical Notebook
"Be prepared. It is not easy to get students to accept these notebooks as a part of their reading regimen. Their original response is to complain, "This is not the way I read." Of course it isn't. Creating dialectical notebooks gets them directly involved with the text and slows them down. "
