Islay ICT: Google Sketchup Seminar
As I said in my last entry I was expecting small numbers for my seminar at the Scottish Learning Festival and I planned to turn this an advantage.
I hope I managed this. Certainly the small numbers seemed very positive at the end. I said I would place some useful links for Sketchup for the small band of 10 who came and were made to work.

Integrating ICT into the MFL classroom:: Power to the mobloggers!
Having played around on my new MSI Wind U100 for the last few weeks, I can honestly say that it is the most awesome tool for working on the move I've come across so far. K12 Online Conference 2008 | Classroom 2.0 “Sustained Blogging in the Classroom”
Starting to use blogs in your classroom is one thing, actually embedding them into how you teach and sustaining them as a learning tool over time is something completely different. In the past 3 years, Jeff has helped numerous teachers set up blogs with their students. Some have continued to use blogs as a learning tool, others have given up not able to sustain blogging in their classroom. In this presentation we’ll look at some ways that you can successfully embed blogs into your daily routine and look at examples from teachers around the world who have made blogging part of just what they do in the classroom.
