This is to support a science investigation to find out if plants need light to grow well. This diary, produced in booklet format, provides a record of growth for two beans - one grown in the light, the other in the dark. It is editable so could be modified for a similar type of investigation.
Resource designed to get pupils speaking. For GCSE (Topic Questions) or A-Level students. I carried it out with an AS Spanish class to practise the stimulus cards. Pupils are presented the stimulus card and given 12 minutes to write the best responses they possibly can to the questions. They are the More…n split into teams in the class and names drawn from a hat in order to make the battle match-ups. Pupils then given a limit during which they will battle. Those not taking part take note and give feedback following the battle and we decide who wins.
