This Moment allows users to create a digital collage of an important moment or moments in their lives. Using this moment you can use images and videos from your Facebook, Flickr, Picassa, and YouTube accounts to create your This Moment collage. This Moment also incorporates Google Maps so you can link to the location of where an event took place. Was there a story in the news about your chosen event? If so, you can include links to those news stories. When your collage is complete you can share it on a number of social networking services or embed it in your blog or website. Poetry Visualized Provides a Lesson Plan Idea
Poetry Visualized can best be described as YouTube or SlideBoom for poets. The concept is poets and or film makers make a visual representation of a poem. An audio narration of the poem is played over the images representing the themes or words of the poem. Poetry Visualized is completely comprised of user-generated content which can be viewed on the website or shared via url links or by embedding the content into another website or blog. Below is an example of the type of video found on Poetry Visualized.

n this podcast from the road, I compare the available features, limitations, and relative benefits of using the web service drop.io compared to Gabcast for cell phone (or regular land line phone) digital recording. Gcast is another available option for phone-in recording, and I discuss it a bit as well. Both Gabcast and Gcast became commercial-only phone recording services in the spring of 2009, but drop.io still offers 100 MB or about 450 minutes of free phone recording to anyone. In the podcast I provide an overview of a lecturecasting via cell phone pilot project I helped facilitate this past spring with a local university using Gabcast, and also describe how participants in our Celebrate Oklahoma Voices digital storytelling project have used Gabcast in the past to permit relatives in different towns to record and share oral history interviews digitally.

Student Voices is a project our middle schools students created in our 9th period elective Digital Storytelling class.
Students viewed several videos created by other school and other students around the country. They also listened to and studied great speeches and quotes from famous people.
This was their chance to have their voices heard.
