  • sudo dpkg -i /path/to/nspluginwrapper_0.9.91.5-2ubuntu2_i386.deb
     sudo apt-get remove --purge flashplugin-nonfree
     sudo apt-get install flashplugin-nonfree

  •  System -> Administration -> Software sources -> be sure than you have selected the "main", "universe", "restricted" and multiverse".
     Then go to the Updates tab -> check "security", "updates" and "proposed"
     Now "Close" and "Reload".

     

    after that, do this in the terminal:
     sudo apt-get remove --purge flashplugin-nonfree
     sudo apt-get install flashplugin-nonfree

  • To get PulseAudio to work, this is basically what I had to do:

    Create a file called ~/.pulse/default.pa with these contents:

    #!/usr/bin/pulseaudio -nF

    .include /etc/pulse/default.pa

    load-module module-alsa-sink device=plughw:0 rate=44100 sink_name=mysink
    set-default-sink mysink
