The World of 100 : Toby Ng Design
"This is a self-initiated project based on the scenario – If the world were a village of 100 people. There are a few different versions of this text in circulation about the world’s statistics. I found the data very striking and neatly summarises the world that we live in. So I used information graphics to re-tell the story in another creative way. I designed a set of 20 posters, which contain most of the information. I used simple vector graphics that related to a statistic in order to present the information in the simplest and most accessible way."
Spectra Visual Newsreader | msnbc.com
"Research showed that msnbc.com users don’t get a quick news fix and leave; they loiter and explore. That insight led to the “A Fuller Spectrum of News” concept and its multicolored information graphic metaphor. The Spectra Visual Newsreader extends the brand by introducing experimental navigation, customization and interactivity. It was the leading edge in a second wave of branding work for msnbc.com and launched the same day as newsblastergame.com and newsware.msnbc.com. Since the launch, additional features have been phased in and Spectra has been altered to be operated via touchscreens and giant display."

2009 Trends article on LogoLounge.Com
"These are austere times, but the logos recently loaded onto LogoLounge.com - nearly 35,000 since 2008 - certainly do not reflect it. And that is how it should continue to be. Wary homage may be paid to marketing in lean times, but not to identity design. This are two wholly different efforts with different goals. It should set a long-term course for clients, not fall into pits carved out by economic phases."
