The new contraceptive pill drospirenone may not be better as regards the adverse effect of formation of deep vein blood clots in comparison to the older one,levonorgestrel.
Oestrogen/progesterone containing oral contraceptive pills have some adverse effect as above.
It is also that some reports give report in contrary.
Who is to be believed?
The present compound claimed to have less chance of gall stone formation.
