QR Codes on the noticeboard
So there I was walking down one of the corridors in the college when I noticed that there was a QR Code on the noticeboard.

It linked to a survey by students on bands and music, they were using surveymonkey that works well on a mobile device. The questionnaire was a simple one so could be easily completed on your mobile device.

Google has all kinds of great resources that many of us use daily in our schools.  Every year I look forward to the launch of Google Doodle and wait with anticipation to see what kids from around the US have come up with.  This year, I am in a place where we can even try our hands at the Google Science Fair.  Very exciting stuff!

I had a request from one of my readers to create a Twitter template in SMART Notebook similar to the Facebook Template I shared in February. I’ve finished it, so here it is! Your students can use this template to create a “fake” Twitter page for a famous person in history, an athlete, or a character in a book.

Connecting students to the world around them and expanding their imaginations are just two reasons to further incorporate technology into classroom. A recent Califone contest asked educators for creative ways a USB webcam could be used to benefit their students.
