Even if you have a 21st Century classroom, flexible and adaptable; even if you are a 21st Century teacher ; An adaptor, a communicator, a leader and a learner, a visionary and a model, a collaborator and risk taker; even if your curriculum reflects the new paradigm and you have the facilities and resources that could enable 21st century learning – you will only be a 21st century teacher if how we teach changes as well. 21 Things for the 21st Century Educator - Home
The purpose of this course is to provide ”Just in Time” training through an online interface for K-12 educators based on the National Educational Technology Standards for Teachers (NETS-T). These standards are the basic technology skills every educator should possess. Participants who fulfill all of the requirements have the opportunity to earn SBCEU’s. To learn more about the session, look under the tab “The 21 Things”. We hope you take advantage of this unique opportunity.

NZ Interface Magazine | Eight habits of highly effective 21st century teachers
What are the characteristics we would expect to see in a successful 21st century educator? Well, we know they are student-centric, holistic, and they’re teaching about how to learn as much as teaching about the subject area. We know, too, that they must be 21st century learners as well. But highly effective teachers in today’s classrooms are more than this – much more.

Exploratory Lessons
Expand the universe of your students’ math knowledge with this collection of lessons and activities. Math texts don’t usually dedicate very much coverage for fractals and graph theory, yet these topics are some of the most timely. Students need to see that mathematical study goes beyond Arithmetic, Algebra, and Geometry. Mathematics includes a wide range of investigations into topics that are utilized in the real world. These lessons should give students a basic understanding of these advanced concepts that they can carry with them to college.
