When to use a Phrase Net

A phrase net diagrams the relationships between different words used in a text. It uses a simple form of pattern matching to provide multiple views of the concepts contained a book, speech, or poem. Intuitive, attractive, and easy as pie, this is a fine tool for elementary animal exploration and for class presentation. I can see teachers and students grouping clips to study locomotion, to examine ecosystems and habitats, to compare mammals or reptiles or amphibians. Animal-loving kids will love it for classroom and for personal investigations.

I kinda hope that the libraries of available film clips and sounds multiply and that NGS will consider adding voice recording and embedding features. I also wish the clips were labeled so that users could see what they were dragging prior to dragging them to the timeline.
