Stellarium

This is a lovely new open source planetarium app, for Mac and Windows (and source for Linux). Once you realise there are 2 menus one on the lower left edge, and one on the left of the bottom edge, it is a dream to get started.

Linux Format :: View topic - Linux doesn't preserve the file "modified" date?

  • When using rsync between Linux filesystems, the -a option makes more sense as it preserves everything. Use -t with Windows filesystems to avoid the error messages caused by the filesystem being stupid to understand file permissions and ownerships.
