This letter is not intended as a response to the Obama campaign’s letter. However, in the interest of a complete record, and in contrast to the alleged minor procedural problems noted by the Obama campaign, the Committee wishes to bring to your attention information we have received evidencing a premeditated and predesigned plan by the Obama campaign to engage in systematic corruption of the Party’s caucus procedures. Compounding this blatant distortion of the caucus rules was an egregious effort by the Obama campaign to manipulate the voter registration process in its own favor, thereby disenfranchising countless voters. Finally, the Committee has received a vast number of reliable reports of voter suppression and intimidation by the Obama campaign or its allies.
The Committee had 30 phone lines on Saturday to receive calls in its Las Vegas offices. These lines rang continuously from early morning until well after the caucuses concluded with reports from people who were victimized and who observed irregularities. The phone lines were so over-whelmed that many callers resorted to calling individual Committee staff cell phones to report that they could not get through. The Committee also received many similar calls at its national headquarters.
The Committee is confident that any investigation into the conduct of the caucuses will be thorough, fair and in the interest of insuring that future Party caucuses will be as open and democratic as possible.
Systematic Corruption of the Party’s Caucus Procedures
Please note that I have updated this post, adding links discovered since first posting it.
In my post on the complicity of Democratic officials in vote fraud, I addressed problems in just one state. As I began work on a larger post, exploring how such chicanery could help Obama steal the election, I realized I had such a wealth of information, it would be easier simply to list the stories state by state, providing links to the relevant articles.
You’ll note that most sources are local papers and news stations or blogs, few are national media or the leading dailies. That is, while local media and blogs are covering this, the national media is downplaying it or downright ignoring it.
Nothing like getting the information straight from the horses mouth. According to Newsmax, four former employees of ACORN and of ACORN Housing Corp. have supplied sworn affidavits to the Consumer Rights League that provide eyewitness accounts of how the two organizations have commingled funds and resources, in apparent violation of federal law. By commingling the funds it is not only using government funds to push its liberal political agenda, but also it provided a smoke screen for some ACORN leaders to line their own pockets with your tax dollars:
-
- AHC employees were instructed to hide documents from federal auditors with the Department of Housing and Urban Development, HUD.
- AHC employees were instructed on “steering” loans to partner banks, including Chase (for loans in the New Orleans area) and Bank of America for other areas around the country.
- AHC National Field Director Lee Trujillo stated in the presence of several of these witnesses that “AHC and ACORN would be funded out of the same account.”
- AHC and ACORN have also shared “voter initiative money.”
- Internal AHC emails and other documents “clearly show that AHC is paying for lease space occupied by ACORN.”
- AHC employees were instructed to hide documents from federal auditors with the Department of Housing and Urban Development, HUD.
Imagine: It is the very early morning of November 5, 2008. Despite all the predictions and polls, John McCain and Barack Obama are locked in an extremely close race for President of the United States. McCain made a furious comeback over the previous 3 weeks following the last debate where Obama fumbled several answers while looking tired.
McCain's momentum propelled him back into the race and in a furious last minute charge that involved spending more than $25 million in combined campaign and Republican National Committee ad money that last weekend surged to within just a few points of Obama by Election Day.
Now, at 6:00 AM the following day, the race hangs on the results in just one state; Ohio.
McCain leads by nearly 50,000 votes but suddenly, Ohio's Democratic Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner announces that several thousand McCain absentee ballots have been disqualified while additional thousands of votes in Cuyahoga County were "discovered" to have not been counted. After several more hours of confusion -- which included the discovery of more uncounted votes in heavily Democratic counties by the Secretary of State -- McCain's lead is gone and Obama is declared the winner of Ohio and the election.

One of the biggest issues? These voters didn't need to show ID or proof of residency in order to cast their ballot. We witnessed dozens of homeless people being driven to the polls, and none of them had to prove that they were Ohio residents. In fact, one man I spoke with was about to hop on a Greyhound bus to go back to Chicago. We have been trying for a week now to get a comment from the Secretary of State to see how she plans on verifying the residency and identification of all these early voters. Despite numerous phone calls and emails, we have yet to be granted even just a ten minute interview.Who I did speak with was the Director of the Franklin County Board of Elections. When I asked him what would prevent the homeless man from voting in Illinois just weeks after he cast a ballot in Ohio, he told me that their voter checks are "just county-to-county, we do not do state by state."
A retired Pennsylvania Supreme Court Justice says that she is "not confident we can get a fair election" in the state come November.
Justice Sandra Newman, accompanied by Dauphin County District Attorney Edward Marsico and Pennsylvania Republican State Chairman Robert Gleason, expressed her concerns at a Harrisburg press conference this morning. A thick document replete with photo copies of phony registrations and aerial shots of vacant lots used as "addresses" for "voters" was handed out to journalists.
Gleason was even more explicit.
"Between March 23rd and October 1st, various groups, including ACORN, submitted over 252,595 registrations to the Philadelphia County Election Board" with 57, 435 rejected for faulty information. "Most of these registrations were submitted by ACORN, and rejected due to fake social security numbers, incorrect dates of birth, clearly fraudulent signatures, addresses that do not exist, and duplicate registrations. In one case, a man was registered to vote more than 15 times since the Primary election."
"Voter fraud is no longer just a Philadelphia problem," Gleason said, with ACORN targeting key counties across the state. Counties specifically cited included:
We’ve also heard that the Clinton campaign filed complaints to the FBI and other federal agencies over Obama’s fraud in the Iowa, Texas and other caucuses: voter intimidation, registration fraud, and other illegal activities.
The last thing we were told tonight in regards to all of this was that “the memo here is a tying together of all these various threads. That’s what you will see in the last weeks of the campaign: all things being tied together”.
If everything rumored here is true, it looks like David Axelrod, Howard Dean, Donna Brazile, Obama himself, and possibly even Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid were all involved, together, in massive RICO violations, and thus federal fraud, if the DNC and party leadership knew what the Obama campaign and ACORN were up to and allowed it to proceed. Knowledge of federal crimes being committed makes all parties accessories to those crimes — and part of the conspiracy to defraud the public.
ACORN Is A Bad Seed
Something’s rotten in the state of New Mexico, and Ohio, and Michigan, and Pennsylvania, and Florida, and…
ACORN says it is a community group, but it is really a multi-million-dollar, multinational conglomerate. Its political agenda is driven by a relative handful of anti-corporate activists. ACORN spends millions of dollars to promote economic policies (like raising the minimum wage), but has admitted that it doesn't always want to abide by them. ACORN advocates for workers' rights and runs two unions, but has in the past fought its own employees' efforts to form a union.
ACORN's history makes for pretty interesting reading. The Clinton Administration found that ACORN was misspending government grants designed to help counsel the poor. Although it seeks minimum wage increases in cities and states across the country -- ACORN sued the state of California to get out of paying its own employees the state minimum wage.
If you haven’t been paying attention, it’s time to tune in to the story of the Democratic presidential candidate (Barack Obama), widespread voting fraud (ACORN), and detestable past actions that fed the current financial crisis. Are you with me so far? I don’t need to retread all the facts because so many others already have.
Let’s start with this editorial in Investor’s Business Daily:
A radical group Barack Obama used to work for is committing voter-registration fraud in several states, ahead of the election. What does Obama know about this scam?
It goes further than that. As insightful blogger Ed Morrissey notes:
Not only has Obama publicly endorsed ACORN, he has paid them at least $800,000 for their services, an amount that he didn’t immediately disclose until pressed. ACORN has responded in kind, with their voter-registration efforts that have resulted in criminal investigations in more than a dozen states…
ACORN has been expending a great deal of time, money and energy registering fraudulent voters dedicated to the cause of Obama. Some of these people are dead, some are simply made up. At least 14 states, including Nevada, New Mexico, Indiana, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Michigan have fallen prey to ACORN in this election cycle. Now, you can add Missouri to the list.
According to Dave Reinhart, director of the Clay County Election Board, ACORN has been filling out voter registration cards for people who simply do not exist. It appears that they are taking the phone book, picking out an address and phone number, and then making a small change to the name, using a different middle name or initial, for example, to create a registration card.
For example, Paul F. Thomas supposedly registered to vote. His social security number and date of birth were falsified, and the signature does not match that of the Paul Thomas who actually resides at that address.
U.S. Sen. Barack Obama's presidential campaign paid more than $800,000 to an offshoot of the liberal Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now for services the Democrat's campaign says it mistakenly misrepresented in federal reports.
An Obama spokesman said Federal Election Commission reports would be amended to show Citizens Services Inc. -- a subsidiary of ACORN -- worked in "get-out-the-vote" projects, instead of activities such as polling, advance work and staging major events as stated in FEC finance reports filed during the primary.
FEC spokeswoman Mary Brandenberger said it is not unusual for campaigns to amend reports, even regarding large sums of money.

ACORN Offices Raided in Las Vegas
More Hope and Change...
The ACORN Offices in Las Vegas were raided by Nevada State officials today.
Several computers and docuements were seized in the raid.
Registrations included forms listing the starting lineup of the Dallas Cowboys.
FOX News reported:
Nevada state authorities seized records and computers Tuesday from the Las Vegas office of an organization that tries to get low-income people registered to vote, after fielding complaints of voter fraud.
Bob Walsh, spokesman for the Nevada secretary of state's office, told FOXNews.com the raid was prompted by ongoing complaints about "erroneous" registration information being submitted by the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, also called ACORN.
The group was submitting the information through a voter sign-up drive known as Project Vote.
"Some of them used nonexistent names, some of them used false addresses and some of them were duplicates of previously filed applications," Walsh said, describing the complaints, which largely came from the registrar in Clark County, Nev.

ACORN's behavior seems stupid until you read about Cloward-Piven, who were two sociology professors at Columbia. They describe how to overburden government systems until the systems collapse.
According to this theory, the power then can shift to the Lenin-y ones who are in on the plot and ready to jump in to the power vacuum.
If ACORN is following the Cloward-Piven model, ACORN is doing this on purpose. ACORN considers legal prosecution and jail time a cost of doing business.
ACORN'S goal, according to this way of thinking, is to overburden the election system and eventually to force its collapse. Lenin said "worse is better." That means that the worse things go in a capitalist free market, the closer it is to failure and thus vulnerable to a takeover.
It is very, very good for American voters to be able to read about this and consider it before this election.
We should consider this a warning, there will be election problems in Lake County, Indiana. Laura Washington, the Sun Times columnist, De Paul prof and former In These Times editor wrote another of her election roundups and as usual it is informative, especially the section concerning Gary, Indiana. That is Gary of Lake County, Indiana, the same Lake County that is having such big problems with fraudulent voter registrations and the same Lake County that Flying Debris commented on here just two days ago:
CBS is finally looking into the bogus people making donations to Team Obama. It is about time, they have found at least two fakes to go with the list of others previously found. This is a huge scandal that the media has thus far ignored. Full disclosure is the only true way to show that a candidate will not be influenced by bribery, yet Obama and his staff have been lax in enforcing the rules. Which comes as no surprise, Obama will most likely state that he was unaware such donations were not allowed. His gambit of total ignorance should bring questions, but it does not.
For the first time in my memory, we have a major candidate that does not know anything about the people around him. He never in twenty years heard a sermon in his church that he was controversial, when that was what was being peddled. He surrounds himself with felons and radical terrorists and was unaware that they were radicals and felons. He most likely did not know that his wife makes her money by dumping the poor patients of her wealthy hospital into the laps of charity wards and public health clinics. I wonder, what does Obama chat about?
While most Americans are watching the Dow and other stock-market figures zig and zag, I have my eyes fixed on numbers that are headed straight up: voter registrations. Across the nation, election clerks and secretaries of state are regularly announcing historic increases in the ranks of registered voters.
For a pollster, this is a nightmare. It changes the composition of what we hopefully refer to as the likely voter population. All of a sudden, in many states we have hundreds of thousands of new voters with no prior vote history on the books. Will they vote or not? Which party will they vote for? Are they newly eligible young voters registering for the first time? Or instead, are they move-ins from other states?
The questions raised by new registrations won’t end this week. Typically, voters can register until Oct. 6 in most states, and even later in others. A week or more will be needed to update lists and tabulations. Until the final numbers are in, we cannot fully assess the implications for the election outcome, but the first reports don’t bode well for Republicans.
Consider Florida. Between Jan. 1 and Sept. 1, that state registered 337,000 new voters under 35 years of age. Only 22 percent registered as Republicans, while more than twice as many, 45 percent, signed in for the first time as Democrats.
— The Bernalillo County clerk has notified prosecutors that some 1,100 possibly fraudulent voter registration cards have been turned in to her office.
Some cards in New Mexico's most populous county have the same name as a voter who's already registered, but carry a different birth date or Social Security number; some list someone else's Social Security number; some have addresses that don't exist, Clerk Maggie Toulouse Oliver said Wednesday.
In one case, a series of about nine cards appears to have been taken directly from the phone book, she said.
"Those are sort of the big red flags," Toulouse Oliver said.
The questioned cards came in over a period of time.
"Every once in a while, a card will pop up that we suspect might be possibly fraudulent and we sequester those," Toulouse Oliver said. "In anticipation of the upcoming election, we gathered those together and started to notify law enforcement."
