The Jihad Candidate « 2008 voter
Conspiracy theories make for interesting novels when the storyline is not so absurd that it can grasp our attention. ‘The Manchurian Candidate’ and ‘Seven Days in May’ are examples of plausible chains of events that captures the reader’s imagination at best-seller level. ‘What if’ has always been the solid grist of fiction. Get yourself something cool to drink, find a relaxing position, but before you continue, visualize the television photos of two jet airliners smashing into the Twin Towers in lower Manhattan and remind yourself this cowardly act of Muslim terror was planned for eight years. How long did it take Islam and their oil money to find a candidate for President of the United States? As long as it took them to place a Senator from Illinois and one from Minnesota? The same amount of time to create a large Muslim enclave in Detroit? The time it took them to build over 2,000 mosques in America? The same amount of time required to place radical wahabbist clerics in our military and prisons as ‘chaplains’?

Lynette Long: TERRORIST GROUP PROTECTS OBAMA
While visiting the West Bank to meet with Abbas, Obama's security will be beefed up by the Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigade, a terrorist group. Obama is to legitimize a Palestinian terror group responsible for killing lots of innocent Israelis. That isn't the best way to improve America's image abroad. Of course, as with Hamas, members of Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigade support Obama, as do the Black Panthers, the Hamas, and Nation of Islam. The al-Aqsa brigades are responsible for dozens of suicide bombings and many more shooting attacks against Israeli vehicles in the West Bank. Here is a list of some of their suicide bombings.

At a recent event supposedly in honor of a Jewish philanphropist, Lee said, "The Jews have made money on us in the music business and we are the entertainers, and they are economically enslaving us. African Americans must come together behind Barack Obama, because now is the time to show the Jews"

Farrakhan mum on Obama, for now
he Nation of Islam leader said that his silence during Obama’s presidential campaign is not due to having nothing to say or speak on. Obama’s campaign has been dogged by controversy from comments made by his former pastor, Jeremiah Wright of Trinity United Church of Christ, and Rev. Michael Pfleger, pastor of St. Sabina church, but Farrakhan said he is holding his peace. “I have something to say,” Farrakhan told the congregation. “I’m going to take on the forces…once Barack is safely ashore,” he said, indicating that he would wait until Obama is in the White House before he makes public comments. “I’m not gone let them use me to hurt my brother…I love that man,” Farrakhan said.

Obama: 9-11 happened because al-Qaida lacks 'empathy'
The 9-11 attacks were carried out because of a lack of "empathy" for others' suffering on the part of al-Qaida, whose terrorist ideology "grows out of a climate of poverty and ignorance, helplessness and despair," Sen. Barack Obama explained in largely unreported comments eight days after the mega-terror attacks that rocked the nation. Obama went on to imply the September 11th attacks were in part a result of U.S. policy, lecturing the American military to minimize civilian casualties in the Middle East and urging action opposing "bigotry or discrimination directed against neighbors and friends of Middle-Eastern descent."

Bobby Seale, Still Revolutionary
BSN: What do you think of Barack Obama? BobbyS: I like Obama very much. He’s representative of a lot of changes which are necessary for the country. He might just be another guy who has been handed the keys by the corporate establishment. But if he can make it to President and actually use the bully pulpit to become a driving force for some progressive legislation related to human liberation, then that’s all the better. BSN: How would you describe yourself politically today? BobbyS: I am still a progressive, political revolutionary. I am a revolutionary humanist, like I was in the Sixties. Do you understand what I mean by revolution? Revolution is about the need to re-evolve political, economic and social justice and power back into the hands of the people, preferably through legislation and policies that make human sense. That’s what revolution is about. Revolution is not about shootouts.

Food for thought....
A formal plan for targeting America was devised three years after the Iranian revolution in 1982. The plan was summarized in a 1991 memorandum by Mohamed Akram, an operative of the global Muslim Brotherhood. 'The process of settlement' of Muslims in America , Akram explained, 'is a civilization jihad process.' This means that members of the Brotherhood must understand that their work in 'America is a kind of grand jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and sabotaging its miserable house by their hands and the hands of the believers so that it is eliminated and God's religion is made victorious over all other religions.' There is terrorism we can see, smell and fear, but there is a new kind of terror invading The United States in the form of Sharia law and finance. Condoning it is civilization suicide. Middle East Muslims are coming to America in record numbers and building hate infidel mosques, buying our corporations, suing us for our traditions, but they and the whole subject of Islam is white noise leaving uninformed Americans about who and what is really peaceful. Where is our investigative press? Any criticism of Islam or their intentions, even though Islamic leaders state their intentions daily around the globe, brings-forth a volley of 'racist' from the left-wing Democrat crowd.

Wham Bam Thank You Imam! « TMQ2
Our dear Imam (referring to Ayatollah Khomeini) said that the occupying regime must be wiped off the map and this was a very wise statement. We cannot compromise over the issue of Palestine. Is it possible to create a new front in the heart of an old front. This would be a defeat and whoever accepts the legitimacy of this regime has in fact, signed the defeat of the Islamic world. Our dear Imam targeted the heart of the world oppressor in his struggle, meaning the occupying regime. I have no doubt that the new wave that has started in Palestine, and we witness it in the Islamic world too, will eliminate this disgraceful stain from the Islamic world. Notice Ahmadinejad said, to compromise with Israel is to admit defeat for the entire Islamic world. He’s obviously very flexible with how he views the entire Islamic world and where he thinks it should be headed. His world of Islam

But par for the course, instead we find that Muslim laws are being imposed on us in our own country. The Hijab evolved as a way for Muslim women to avoid being raped in Beirut by Arafat's PLO thugs. (I'm sorry that's Nobel Prize winner and Palestinian President Yasir Arafat.) Today they serve that same function for non-Muslim women in Norway and Sweden and parts of France. What the Hijab really communicates is, "I'm subservient, please don't rape me." It's a true testament to the hope and change Obama and the Democratic party are bringing, for them to compell female reporters to don that badge of servitude that is really no different than a yellow star. If the United States demanded that Muslim women who come to the United States wear pantsuits, which we consider respectable dress, there would be an uproar. But when a Presidential candidate whose middle name shall not be mentioned demands the same of American women, we're expected to take it in stride. Today the black ghosts of masked women haunt European and American cities. And what bruises, what bloody marks and what brutality those veils and sheets hide is anyone's guess. While Muslim groups practice their idea of anti-civil rights as civil rights by fighting for the "right" of Muslim women to be oppressed, Western feminist groups hold Hijab and Burka fashion shows whose message seems to be, "Try on some oppression now so you can get used to it."

Ben Smith's Blog: Obama press told to cover up, not wear green - Politico.com
Reporters traveling overseas with Sen. Barack Obama were thrown a bit of curve last week when the campaign emailed a “dress code” for Israel and Jordan. Aides had passed along as a courtesy the list that they had distributed to their staff to follow. But some of the tips raised a few eyebrows, particularly among the female reporters. “Do not wear green.” (Explained later as the color of Hamas) “Do not wear nail polish.” “Women should only wear a limited amount of jewelry.” “Shoulders and arms must be fully covered (no strapless tops, no tank tops, no short sleeve shirts.)" “Closed-toe shoes, women should also wear stockings.”

Obama’s Muslim Liaison « The Apostate
Commenter Natasha drew my attention to the Obama campaign creating a position (that hasn’t yet been filled) for a Muslim liaison [link]. On the face of it, there isn’t anything wrong with such a move. American Muslims are a constituency and Obama is running for president and presumably wants Muslim votes and outreach to American Muslims. However, the person who was originally rumored to have been hired for the position, said some unsavory things: “We need to recognise that the social structure in the Muslim world is very different from America’s. American women need to understand that what is best for them is not necessarily what is best for Muslim women. Advocacy of women’s rights in the Muslim world must show sensitivity to local political realities.” Whether or not the Obama campaign hires Haim Nawas (quoted above) for this position, her views deserve to be countered. There are several things wrong with what she’s saying:

CFP: Opposing Barack Obama
When Barack Obama first entered this presidential race, he was presented by world media as a new phenomenon. When you [RB] first wrote an article in India that exposed his artificiality and lack of gravity, and later it was translated into Hindi by [my web site] Lokmanch; it was nothing other than a sensation for Indian readers. Since then people have developed some apprehensions about Obama, even in mainstream media. RB: What do Indians know about Senator John McCain? AT: We don’t get much news about John McCain. Some of us know that being a war prisoner in Vietnam he would fall heavily against Islamists forces and give new dimensions to the war on terror. RB: Do you see any difference between the two American parties?
