Make Your Own Quizzes, Fun Surveys & Tests Online - Quibblo!
Quiz-making and sharing site. Looks kind of cool. Some annoying design elements, though.
Tweetboard - True Twitter Conversation
Cool web client that is embedded in my site and displays my updates. I like this.
Glogster – Poster Yourself | Text, Images, Music and Video
I still have to figure this one out.
Prezi - Presentation application
Prezi is a presentation app. The concept looks like an implementation of Jeff Raskin's Zoom Interface. Glad to see this come around.
Twiddla - Team WhiteBoarding with Twiddla - Painless Team Collaboration for the Web
This is a "team" whiteboarding app. Haven't tried it yet, but seems to be similar to other apps out there. It's getting lots of buzz, now, so maybe there's something other. [edit - just tried it and it's really good. only one I found for free that lets you import a web page to mark up]
Palbee - Free web video conference, meetings & video chat rooms
Cool functionality of communicating across various websites with same embedded player
bookgoo - Highlight the World
Looks somewhat interesting, but it threw errors a couple times in the 2 minutes that I was testing it out. Not ready for prime time.
the Awesome Highlighter >> Highlight text on web pages
Really is awesome. Easy way to highlight and annotate web pages.
Buzzword Documents
I'm commented many times that I need an online word processor that does comments. I used Buzzword before acrobat bought them, but didn't use it with students. I will now use it. It's tied in with free Adobe Connect meeting rooms. WoW
YouTube EDU
YouTube Education. I think that this is YouTube's answer to iTunesU
Pixelpipe - Your uploads
Single online app to post to all (most) your online social spaces. I'm not sure that I love it, but it works pretty well from what I can tell.
GoAnimate - Create your own cartoons and animations easily. Our tools are free and you don't need to learn Flash.
Great animation tool that's really easy to use and has a lot of fun content to choose from. The additional benefit of being able to upload your own audio/images is just a major plus. That allowed me to add voice instead of just dialogue bubbles
blueful
Great example of digital storytelling using multiple sources. Unique and totally worth checking out.
