The wave of the future is here especially for education.  Terms like 21st Century Computing, BYOD (Bring Your Own Device), and Cloud Computing, are mainstream.  The introduction of mobile devices, iPods, netbooks, and more specifically the iPad has brought technology to more students then ever before.  A 1 to 1 environment(1 student per 1 technology device) is not only a possibility but a reality in more school districts then people realize.  W/ all that being said I have decided to create a list of my 10 favorite sites for finding educational apps.

The network setting, YouTube for Schools, gives schools the option to sign up with the Web site’s education channel, YouTube EDU. By signing up, schools automatically disable certain features, including the ability to make comments on posted videos, and other distractions to student learning, YouTube announced.
