The Organization of Economic Co-operation and Development, in which 30 countries participate, administered in 2000 (they will again in 2009) a reading exam to 15 year-old in their Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA). Every 3 years they test students and compare reading, math, and science. Mexico and Spain were the only 2 Spanish-speaking countries to participate
