About : Alphabeta Greenpoint
The Shop
The Alphabeta shop is Brooklyn’s first and only urban art supply shop. Featuring an 800 can rack of spray paint, including Molotow Belton, Montana Gold, Montana Black, Plutonium G, Sabotaz, Monster/Clash and a vast array of wide-nibbed markers, refillable paint markers, and a selection of top of the line urban art books and magazines.
You will also find a selection of vintage sneakers, boomboxes and collectible cans of Krylon, Rusto, and more!
The Gallery
The Alphabeta gallery is the first of it’s kind - a 5,000 square foot indoor and outdoor space, with completely renewable wall area for painting (live and pre-show), ventilation designed to handle aerosol fumes, and a raw energy built to foster a movement.
Programming in the space is open to submissions but tailored to showcase work, however loosely, related to pushing urban art and culture.
FUGITIVE IMAGES BETA
Fugitive Images is an archive of street art, graffiti and obtrusive messy conversations held on New York City walls. These styles expose social, cultural and political dialogues across New York's many neighborhoods.
