Up until a few weeks ago I had a Content Curation methodology I was happy with, then something changed.
If there is one thing I love more than engaging with people online it’s sharing useful content with them via Social Media. It’s a good job too, as content curation plays a major part in developing social relationships.
As the expert in your field people will look to you for ideas and to advise them on the latest trends in your area of business. The only way you can hope to help them is by reading extensively, then sharing the relevant information that you find.
Content curation is not about collecting links or being an information pack rat, it is more about putting them into a context with organization, annotation, and presentation. Content curators provide a customized, vetted selection of the best and most relevant resources on a very specific topic or theme.

To help you find your way around the Gallery, we've organised the strategies under four key tasks involved in designing and delivering courses:
organising the content - presenting or exploring information to engage learners
preparing learning activities - providing a variety of challenges and interactions for learners
providing support - building communication to motivate and enrich learning
arranging assessment - assessing progress and providing evidence of competence.
As you'll see, e-learning resources can be used to enrich learning in all these ways.

A MOOC is a Massive Open Online Course. It is a gathering of participants, of people willing to jointly exchange knowledge and experiences for each of them to build upon. As such it is within the hands of the participants and organizers of a MOOC to change it to their needs. This allows them to use the information and to construct their own ideas or projects
I found the Google Circles model of Asymmetric Sharing to be a little confusing, so I created this visual guide. Please share!
Do you write or prepare content for online courses?
Being aware of the readability of text destined for online students is an important consideration when writing and sourcing readings for online courses.
People jump at a post which shares generously, such as Joyce Seitzinger’s Moodle tool guide for teachers post. In this case, Joyce adapted a social media cheat sheet with a business/marketing focus to one relevant to education. When you do the hard work and share a resource you’ve created in your post, it’s a winner.
10 questions
A hybrid or blended course, by definition, reduces face-to-face "seat time" so that students can pursue additional teaching and learning activities online. To be successful, a hybrid or blended course requires careful pedagogical redesign. These ten questions offer you a way to start thinking about some of these design issues.
1. What do you want students to know when they have finished taking your hybrid cour

This is a collection of 2 Minute Moodles - an attempt to simplify and show how to use a range of Moodle features to a busy teacher.
The tutorials try not to assume too much previous knowledge and are presented for the pragmatical and not necessarily tech-savy users (Moodle purists please excuse). They are a bit like that product I got the pun from - something quick and simple to get you going.
