Twitter Conference Ideas : eLearning Technology
Twitter has become a pretty great tool to help with socializing at conferences. Here are a few of the things we've been doing
John Bohannon, Journalist and visiting researcher at Harvard University, USA
Last month, Amy Burvall and Herb Mahelona were announced as invited speakers at the E-Learn 2011 conference in Hawaii next week. I was excited since I had read about them in the Washington Post and many other places. Yesterday I got even more excited when they agreed to keynote the conference next Wednesday morning (as a late replacement for someone else).
I am looking for digital files-- written words, poems, original music, audio recordings, videos, animations, anything you can create that says something about this moment in time, what you are doing, or the place you are at, you or the sounds in your back yard-- or even what you had for lunch today. Capture your moment!
Featuring: Keynote speakers Gilly Salmon, Joyce Seitzinger, Stephan Schmidt and (of course) Martin Dougiamas
Now also with Julian "Moodleman" Ridden and Ron Oliver (virtually)

Being an educator in the 21st century comes with its own challenges:
• technology that is constantly changing (Moodle, iPhones, iPads),
• information that lives online and is growing at an exponential rate,
• and new pedagogies that accompany these developments (connectivism, networked learning).
A new train of thought…
