Bryan Ollendyke is the e-Learning Institute’s Instructional Information Technology Specialist. He is solely responsible for supporting all of the institute’s courses, maintaining the associated course activation codes, and managing the primary course delivery application known as the E-Learning Management System (ELMS).

Bryan began working as an entry level programmer for IST’s Solution’s Institute (SI) in the summer of 2005. He contributed his knowledge and skills to two major Drupal based modules; an instant messenger tracking system and a Five-star Assessment module. Bryan was also the lead programmer for a web-Derby interface integration project, initiated under the direction of Dr. Keith Bailey. When Dr. Bailey became the director of the e-Learning Institute, Bryan was the first employee onboard to continue work on the web-derby project.

Bryan was approached with the potential creation of a Drupal based project for the upcoming launch of the Institute’s first course, Art 010. Those discussions led to the development of what is now known as the Assignment Studio. Bryan was the lead programmer on the project and has been focusing on Drupal based projects ever since.

Bryan officially joined the e-Learning Institute as a full time employee in June 2007 and has completed projects such as the Assignment Studio, Course Access Code System, and E-Learning Management System Version 1 (ELMS 1).

Bryan graduated in May 2006 with his BS from the College of Information Sciences & Technology. He is currently taking classes toward a Masters of IST.
