The William Shakespeare Experience is a virtual book club, the goal of which is to read and discuss each of Shakespeare's plays in the approximate order that he wrote them.
ReadWriteThink: Lesson Plan: Exploring Plagiarism, Copyright, and Paraphrasing
This lesson helps students understand copyright, fair use, and plagiarism by focusing on why students should avoid plagiarism and exploring strategies that respect copyright and fair use. The lesson includes three parts: part one focuses on plagiarism; part two introduces copyright and fair use; and part three helps students with their paraphrasing skills. The lesson can be expanded to include bibliography writing if desired.
