Lemelson Center presents Invention at Play

The premise here is that childhood play and toys and games helped inventors invent. Made up of three main parts, students are able to go into the invention playhouse and do interactive puzzles dealing with problem solving, exploration and other skills needed by inventors. Through stories of inventors students learn how their childhood play influenced their later inventions. The last section traces the changes in play through the years and what toys have been played with through the years.
