"Across the lake, Vermont officials estimated the public infrastructure damages at more than $3.5 million early in the week but say the actual damages will be far more. No estimate has been given for private property damage, but it's expected to far exceed that. Hundreds of homes, summer camps and cottages have been flooded for the better part of a week."
