OCZ Apex 120GB SSD - Introduction and Packaging - DriverHeaven.net
Introduction
The popularity of solid state drives is increasing as they become cheaper and their capacity increases, while they are not yet mainstream it won’t be long before that is the case. They have considerably better transfer rates and faster access times than mechanical drives which is why discerning enthusiasts have already begun replacing their main disks with SSD drives.
The most aggressive company in the SSD market most likely is OCZ, who released no less than six new series of SSD drives during the past seven months. Today we will have a look at one of their mainstream series SSD models, the Apex 120GB. We are going to see how well the latest mainstream MLC SSD drive from OCZ can perform in this review.

Get the most out of Finder views
Save time by learning when to use Icon, List, Column, or Cover Flow view.
by Kirk McElhearn, Macworld.com
One program every Mac owner uses is the Finder. It’s your Mac’s filing system, organizational structure, and overseer. We all know how to open, move, and copy files, but most of us go about our business without ever considering the most efficient way to get these tasks done. As a prime example, you can use the Finder’s View menu options to view files and folders in four different ways, but most people don’t know why they’d bother. They stick to one view for all their windows when, in fact, there are valid reasons to use each. Here’s how to use the right view at the right time, and save time and trouble in the process.

by Kirk McElhearn, Macworld.com
Looking for some quick time-savers? Chances are you don’t need to hunt down a new utility, you just need to take advantage of the tools OS X already offers.

WHAT'S NEW
Version 1.0b15:
This build is an overall improvement of our engines, and fixes a number of Safari 4 beta compatibility issues.
Please keep in mind, the sooner you let us know about an issue you are having with Glims, the sooner we can fix it.
We are also getting a lot of feature requests. The way we decided to work is to file the requests we receive by subjects and deal with a different subject on every release.
That is after we are satisfied with the stability of the software (which by definition comes first).

iPhotoWebShare
Expand the abilities of Apple's excellent photo library manager: share your iPhoto libraries over the World Wide Web!
Uses Your Existing Photo Library
iPhotoWebShare works with your current iPhoto library, so you don't need to transfer your pictures to a new location -- your pictures continue to be maintained by iPhoto. This means you don't have to learn how to use another photo application or have to periodically copy pictures to a different location. We support iPhoto version 4 through version 8 (iPhoto '09) libraries.
iPhotoWebShare does not modify any iPhoto database files or picture files, so your data is completely safe. It notices when iPhoto updates its library, and shows the changes the next time the web page is accessed.
Share With Everyone!
iPhotoWebShare allows you to share your iPhoto libraries with everyone -- not just other local iPhoto users. iPhotoWebShare runs as a small, background task, so you don't have to run iPhoto to share -- you don't even have to be logged in! With iPhotoWebShare, your photos are accessible through web browsers, so family and friends can view them using Safari, Firefox, Google Chrome, or Internet Explorer on Macs, PCs, or Unix boxes!
iPhotoWebShare uses Bonjour to advertise its service, so local Mac users will automatically see your library being shared in Safari's Bonjour menu.
If you have a static IP address or a dynamic domain, you can even share your photos across the Internet! [how-to]
