BMW to layoff workers in 2008

  • To our surprise, we hold rightful learned that BMW is planning to layoff up to 8,000 workers in 2008. A prolocutor for BMW revealed that most of the jobs missing would exist in Germany and those leaving the assemblage would predominantly exist temporary workers. The 8,000 represents nearly 8% of BMW's workforce, which employs round 108,000 tribe round the world. 
    It is a little shocking to hear these tidings because we were under the imprinting that the german automaker has had a vigorous year and the sales exceeded their expectations.
