Subaru has released an official teaser image of its STI version of the Impreza WRX. Although Subaru didn't release any details with the image, the picture gives us an overall impression of the car's styling. The car features a predominant hood scoop and larger fenders, as well as a new front bumper that incorporates fog lights and air vents. Sources say the STI will use a 300 horsepower turbocharged boxer engine — said to displace 2.5L in the U.S. and 2.0L in Japan and Europe — but it remains unclear if Subaru will offer a dual-clutch gearbox.
