These brands are using mobile technology and user created content to promote their products. On July 10, 2006, the Burger Slayer campaign was introduced by Carl's Jr. and Hardee's restaurant to increase their brand recognition and usage in the male 18 to 34 demographic. The Los Angeles based independent interactive marketing agency and interactive agency of record for CKE Resturants Inc. are created by Spacedog. The dynamic, unique promotional campaign will use mobile technology to interact with the Hardee's and Carl's Jr brands to drive consumers from store locations to the website leveraging user generated content in the promotion, a first for both brands.
