Visualization: BioHeatMap - A Heatmap for Gene Expression and Other Data
Heatmaps are a useful way to visualize matricies of data. Scientists often use green-black-red heatmaps to visualize gene expression data from microarrays. This visualization supports both three color heatmaps (ex: green to black to red) and two color heatmaps (ex: white to yellow).
rietveld - Google Code
This project shows how to create a somewhat substantial web application using Django on Google App Engine.
In addition, I hope it will serve as a practical tool for the Python developer community, and hopefully for other open source communities. As I've learned over the last two years at Google, where I developed a similar tool named Mondrian, proper code review habits can really improve the quality of a code base, and good tools for code review will improve developers' life.
Some code in this project was derived from Mondrian, but this is not the full Mondrian tool.
nativeclient - Google Code
Native Client is an open-source research technology for running x86 native code in web applications, with the goal of maintaining the browser neutrality, OS portability, and safety that people expect from web apps. We've released this project at an early, research stage to get feedback from the security and broader open-source communities. We believe that Native Client technology will someday help web developers to create richer and more dynamic browser-based applications.
Functions : Functions for external data - Google Docs Help Center
This new feature lets you get information from filetypes such as xml, html, csv, tsv, as well as RSS and Atom feeds that you might read today in Google Reader.
Please note: The functions listed here can only read publicly available files. If a file is behind a corporate firewall, or if it requires you to log in to view it, then we can't pull it in. You can reference data in other spreadsheets only after they're published.
Additionally, the limit on functions per spreadsheet is 50.

Keyword Trends in Google Analytics With Greasemonkey: Juice Analytics
After the warm reception for the first version of our Enhanced Google Analytics, we decided to add some new functionality. (Nothing like a few kinds words to keep us in the giving mood.) The first script created a couple new tables in the Google Analytics interface that highlight recent changes in referral visits. It uses Greasemonkey, an add-on for Firefox that allows a user to insert javascript directly into a webpage.
Formulas : Array formulas - Google Docs Help Center
Most spreadsheet programs have two kinds of array formulas: "multi-cell" and "single-cell".
Google Spreadsheets separates those behaviors into the two functions CONTINUE and ARRAYFORMULA.
Multi-cell array formulas let a formula return multiple values. You can use them almost without knowing it, by just entering a formula that returns multiple values. For example, the TRANSPOSE function takes a matrix of cells as its argument, and returns those cells transposed. Suppose A1:B3 contains
