This tutorial shows how to create a WSDL-first web service using either Apache CXF or GlassFish Metro. Both a Maven-based and an Ant-based build process are described below so you can choose the build tool you prefer when following along. We'll be creating a very simple "DoubleIt" web service, one that takes an integer from the SOAP client and returns the number doubled in value.
