A couple days ago I decided the Yahoo! UI extensions library had reached a point where the code had to be better organized. Since I spend about two-thirds of my time doing Java development, I am used to 1 class per file. Working in 500+ line Javascript files, even with a code outline, I was spending way too much of my time scrolling or looking for particular points in the code. The problem is splitting code into more files means more time updating my build scripts and more files users of the library have to sort through to decide what to include if they don't want to include the whole yui-ext.js file. So I decided to build a small application to manage builds for me.
